First of all, this website is still, indeed, a work in progress. I feel inclined to say this as some things hurt my eyes, but I’m working on it with the wonderful Gia Mora.
Now, you know what’s better than a double rainbow?
A double acceptance!
I’m beyond thrilled to announce that we’re taking Shoe home to Waco, where we filmed the movie, and where the majority of our crew is based!
I love Waco Independent so, so much, and I’m so excited to come back for a third time, not just with But I’m a Shoe, but also with Blood and Sex Over Ambition as an official selection for the scriptwriting competition.
Going through the program, I cannot believe just how many friends will be there with their work.
And with so many friends in the scriptwriting competition alone, I’m probably gonna be genuinely happy no matter who wins.
Thanks Waco! See you in July!
But that’s not all! Before Waco, we’re headed with But I’m a Shoe to the Golden Door Film Festival in Jersey City! We will be screening sometime between 6/26-6/28. Stay tuned and make sure to check the screening page!
Excellent time as always was had at the Inwood Film Festival.

What a joy to have our NYC premiere at the neighborhood festival, which does so much for the local community, including, of course, awarding us a production grant for Blood and Sex over Ambition.
The audience was wonderful and generous, the entire program was very impressive, proving once again how much talent exists in Upper Manhattan and the Lower Bronx, and the lovely Lauren Sowa also moderated a Women in Film Panel I got to be a part of.
Oh, and did I mention there was cake every night?
A true joy.
Stay tuned for more news soon!
