As part of the Manhattan JCC’s Books that Changed My Life Festival, Ruth Franklin will be launching her new book, The Many Lives of Anne Frank, on the evening of 1/27/2025, International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
This event will include a special screening of The Book of Ruth, followed by a conversation with the both of us.
The Book of Ruth is actually mentioned in Ruth’s new book (so many Ruths! So many books! Very confusing!)
We held a live reading for The Book of Ruth at the JCC about a year before we filmed the movie, so this feels like coming full circle.
